Standing in a quiet street, I noticed a figure looking toward something distant. At the same moment, a bird crossed the sky above the layered rooftops and the towering structure beyond, and I pressed the shutter. The person in the frame is not myself, but someone who happened to enter the scene. Together with the passing bird, their presence formed a brief balance between stillness and movement. This photograph is not about the place itself, but about the act of looking — and the distance between the observer and what is observed.
