I was so focused on taking photos inside the subway that I almost missed my stop. As I rushed out, someone suddenly waved at me.

For a second, I thought the gesture was meant for me—but then I realized it was a station staff signaling the train to depart. In that one motion, I saw pride and passion in his work. I had only one thought: capture the moment before his hand dropped.

The settings were all wrong. But somehow, the photo feels just right.
