"person in a vegetative state 2" is a continuation of my earlier photographic series that I began at the start of my university life. Through this work, I revisit the theme of a ‘vegetative state’—a condition that symbolizes emotional stagnation, disconnection, and stillness. In this second series, I reflect on the passage of time and the subtle transformations within myself. While the outward stillness remains, the context has shifted: what once represented dormancy now carries traces of endurance, quiet growth, and acceptance. By returning to the same theme that marked my beginning, I aim to close the circle—documenting not just a repeated state, but an evolved one. This project is not about dramatic change, but about the nuances of being stuck yet still surviving. It captures the poetic tension between motionlessness and the imperceptible will to endure.
