Namwoong Kim

Rather than capturing the grandeur of a well-known tourist destination, the goal was to reveal a quieter, more intimate side of Venice—one that often goes unnoticed beyond the crowded landmarks. This narrow canal, lined with aged buildings and gently moored gondolas, reflects the city's timeless rhythm. The flower-adorned bridge in the middle, paired with the distant sign of a modern establishment, illustrates a subtle coexistence between the old and the new. Through this image, I hoped to convey the calm, poetic charm hidden within the city's everyday scenes.
